My Merano My Cargobike, Find names for the Cargobikes, take part and win!

Starting from spring 2025, Merano’s bike-sharing  is expanding: five cargo bikes and an electric scooter specifically designed for people with disabilities will be made available to citizens. Would you like to help us find the perfect names for each cargo bike and the scooter?

How does it work?

  1. Communication experts have already suggested some ideas: vote for the ones you like the most!
  2. Do you have more original ideas? Submit up to two proposals on the platform and explain the reasoning behind your choices.

The jury will select the best names. The chosen names will be applied to the cargo bikes and the electric scooter and then made available as part of Merano’s bike-sharing program.

Who can win?

  • Up to six of the best ideas submitted by the community.
  • The most active user who interacts the most on the platform (comments, proposals, likes).

Tip: The names you propose should preferably be in German or Italian, but English is also welcome. Let your creativity run free! The names can be inspired by the city of Merano or the theme of sustainability.

You can submit your ideas until January 20, 2025.

We look forward to your creative ideas!
